Meet Ms. Murphy,
Our Student Teacher!

Dear Parents and Students,
I am so excited to begin student teaching in Mrs. Gold's class! I just wanted to tell you a little bit about myself so that you can get to know me. I live in Hillsborough, NJ and I am a senior at The College of New Jersey where I am majoring in Elementary Education and English. I have always enjoyed working with children and being in the classroom. After I graduate from college, I would like to become a third grade teacher, so I am very happy to have the experience of working in Mrs. Gold's third grade classroom. Some of my hobbies include swimming, shopping, and reading. I was a swimmer for eight years and now I coach swim team, which is so much fun and a great experience. I have two pets, one cat and one dog. My cat is named Jingles and my dog is named Bailey; they are both so cute! My favorite season is the summer because I like to go to the beach and go on vacation. Some places that I have traveled to are California, Bermuda, Bahamas, Florida, and Maine. I think it is a lot of fun to see different places and compare them to each other. I hope that you have enjoyed learning a little bit about me and I cannot wait to begin teaching in your class at the end of January. See you soon!
