It’s about Arthur and how he goes to Francine’s birthday, Francine and her friedns play a kissing game and Arthur and Francine both get chosen to kiss each other but D.W. see’s Francine try to kiss Arthur so she runs in and grabs him. The genre is informational. I like this book because if someone asks me about it, I will know the answer.
I read a book called The Secret City Under The Sea by Paul S. Newman.
It is about a duck named Scrooge. He was reading a newspaper when something caught his eye. A gold coin was found on the beach. It said Atlantis 1888. As they thought it came from Atlantis. So they got a submarine. They went underwater. When they turned the spotlight on, laser came out instead. They turned it off then they saw Atlantis. They stopped but strong guards put them in prison. This month I read “Samantha Learns a Lesson” by Susan A. Adler. It is about a girl named Samantha. Samantha gets news that her long lost friend Nellie is going to live two houses away and Nellie can go to school! At school Samantha has homework to make a report about progress in America. The 12 best reports would be read to a speaking club. At school, Nellie has been treated badly. Samantha opens a school so Nellie can learn while being treated fairly. About the report, well, Samantha made it about factories. Later, Nellie tells Samantha that factories actually hurt children. What will Samantha do? Will she do the right thing? This month I read a book called : The Berenstein Bears Homework Hassle By: Stan Berenstain. This story is about when Brother Bear isn’t doing his homework and his teacher sends a note home asking that he wasn’t doing homework. He doesn’t show the note. When Papa and Mama Bear see the note stuffed in his backpack they show and ask Brother Bear why he didn’t show it. Papa Bear says to do all his homework. Will Brother Bear do all his homework? A few months ago, I read “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” by J.B. Mowling. In this book, Harry P. goes to “Hogwarts” and discovers his true potential as a wizard. This month I read Fannie in the Kitchen by Deborah Hopkinson. It is about a girl named Marcia who is her mother’s little helper. Marcia can make perfectly long candles, wash clothes till they’re spotless and polish oil lamps till they shined. Marcia thought mama was lucky to have a helper like her. When Mama announced a girl named Fannie Farmer was coming to stay and be her little helper, Marcia was furious and thought that she couldn’t cook at all. Wrong, Fannie could cook! The reason I recommend it is because, #1, it gives handy cooking tips, and #2, it teaches a lesson on cooking.

Jillian~ This month I read Believe It Or Not by Ripley. It is about all these people that do amazing things that no one would ever think of doing. One of the pages talks about some people that are so afraid of sharks that they are unable to swim, even in a pool. Read it to find out more amazing stuff. This book is Genred Non-Fiction. I recommend it because it is fun to read and unbelievable.
Ada~ This month I read Rotten Ralph by Jack Gantos. It’s about a cay who’s really naughty. Once, he sawed off the branch when his owner Sarah was swinging on a swing. One day Sarah’s father came home early from work and saw that Ralph was sitting on Sarah’s Dad’s favorite chair. Ralph was wearing his slippers and blowing soap bubbles through his best pipe. One evening, the whole family went to the circus. Everyone was having a good time except for Ralph. A dog was barking in his ear so he got balloons and tied it to the dogs collar. The dog started floating away. Then he ruined everyone’s act in the circus. Then Sarah’s father leaves him behind in the circus. Whst will happen to Ralph? Read to find out. This month I read The Emerald Casket by Danny Johnson. It’s about four explorers who go around the world to find a specific emerald casket that has the power to do anything. What happens is they turn into bees and then all sorts of crazy things happen. Then the two queens fight. At least the class doesn’t get hurt. Then a huge bear comes out and starts eating the honey. This month I read Goosebumps CSay Cheese and Die! by R.L. Stine. It’s about four people Michal Greg Shari and Doug (but people call him Bird). They go in an abandoned building and they find a camera. They take a picture of Michal and it shows him on the floor with a sprained knee. But he was standing up. Then what happened in the picture really happened. What is wrong with the camera? Last month I read Diary of a Whimpy Kid Dog Days by Jeff Kinney. Its about Greg not wanting to go outside in summer acation. But mom does so Greg is forced out of the house. Also he broke his best friend relationship with Rowley so this summer he is alone with his family. Greg is wondering what will happen in the school year will he thinks he will be one of those lame guys who goes on a family trip.
