Learning About The Lunar New Year!
We were lucky enough to have a few parents come in to teach us about The Lunar New Year! The parents prepared 4 centers for the kids:

Food Center
Food center consisted of 2 different types of dumplings, a sticky rice with beans and pork inside, a plate of fruit, 2 different deserts, a sticky rice with beans inside and a plain yellow sweet bean dessert. Even Ms. Lacy and Mr. Hadinger liked it!

Making Dumplings Center
 Kids got to make their own dumplings!!!

Making Chinese Lanterns
 Kids got to make and design their own Chinese Lanterns!

Learning about the history of the Lunar New Year
 Mrs. Dembinski taught the children about the history and meaning of the Lunar New Year!
