What is the Mastery Club?
This is a club for students who are
interested in
going above and beyond the
normal classroom expectations.
It is a way to challenge my
students and to keep their brains active!
I hope to inspire everyone to
learn new things all the time because
learning never ends!
Each time you answer a question correctly, you get a
star from me! For each star you get, you can earn $1.00
in Classroom Money! You can be a 1 star member, all the
way up to a 90 star member. You start in the Bronze
Members, and can work your way all the way up to the
Diamond Members. Here is the criteria for getting into
each Member Group:
Bronze Members: 1-19 Stars
Silver Members: 20-38 Stars
Gold Members: 39-57 Stars
Platinum Members: 58-75 Stars
Diamond Members: 76-90 Stars
How do we participate?
It's easy! Choose any question from this page and
research it using the website provided, in order to find
the answer. Then, copy the question and answer in
your Beary Challenging Mastery Club Notebook! Bring it
to me, and I will give you a star for each correct
answer! Then, I will update the website with your new
stats.
What is the Mastery Club
Notebook?
Any notebook that you want to use! Sometimes the small
notepads are good for this club, and you can put one
question per page, but you can use whatever you feel
comfortable using! When recording in your Mastery Club
Notebook, please put the number of the question, copy
the question, and then it's answer below. Keep it
organized please! Skip lines in between questions, use
neat handwriting, etc...
What happens after you are a Diamond Member?
Well, then
you get the special privilege of helping me research and
make up
Kid-Created Questions to add to this Mastery Club!
Good Luck and have fun!
A special thanks
goes to Mrs. Renz from Redmond, Oregon
for this
fabulous idea.
