About Mrs. Gold
Hello! My name is Mrs. Jennifer Gold and I am so happy
that you'd like to get to know more about me! There is a lot to
learn...I am not only a teacher, but a wife, a
mother, a dancer, and a website designer! I've
been married since 2006 (my maiden name was Ms. Kunz), and I have a son named
Ethan who was born in June 2009. I took two
years off to be a stay-at-home mom and loved
every minute of it, and this is my first year back! I am really excited to start a new year with all of you!

Teaching Experience
This is my tenth year in Montgomery Township Schools. I started out
teaching basic skills reading and writing for two years, and am now
going on my eighth year teaching third grade!
I received my
Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Clemson University in
Clemson, South Carolina. While teaching basic skills, I completed my
Masters Degree in Reading from The College of New Jersey. I am also
a certified Reading Specialist.
Hobbies
In my spare time, I love to dance. I have taken dance classes and
performed in dance groups since I was six years old. I take tap and jazz classes
once a week during the school year and (like many of you) perform in
a recital every spring! In past summers I have
taught dance at Mercer County Community College, but now I spend my
summers
tutoring and taking summer workshops in order to further my teaching
skills. I also enjoy traveling, reading, shopping, taking Yoga
classes, and going to the
beach. I love to stay busy!
Another thing I enjoy
doing is designing websites, such as this one! I own my own graphic design business, called
Golden Graphic Designs.
I design website graphics for other people's websites! I worked hard
to achieve my Web Designer
Certificate, and design websites for people (mostly teachers) all
over the world including Australia!
Expectations
A few adjectives
that describe me are friendly, excited,
organized, fun, eager to learn, and motivating!
I expect the same from the children, and want
students who are going to have positive
attitudes towards school, will be responsible in
doing their homework or projects, and will be
organized with their papers and belongings, and
will give me 100% effort.

Interesting Tidbit: I try to be very healthy. I don't eat sugar (no candy, cakes, cookies, or other sweets) or white flour. I eat whole wheat everything! I have a juicer and try to juice vegetables a few times a week.
