If you are a boy, please purchase a roll of paper towels. If you are a girl, please purchase a container of Baby (Hand) Wipes. We also need hand sanitizer if you’d like to buy one container of that as well.

4 separate spiral bound 1 subject notebooks labeled "reading, writing, math, and do now" (Notebooks DO NOT go into the binders!)

  1 1/2 inch binder with a clear "title pocket" on the front. I have a cover sheet that we'll place inside of that on the first day of school.

A small to medium pencil box to hold your supplies. The size below works nicely.

Please also purchase the following items to go inside of the binder:

7 folders to go into the binders: Folders should be labeled "reading, writing, math, science, social studies, spelling, and work in progress (WIP)"

A zippered pencil bag that goes into the binder (This will not be used for pencils, so please don't fill it up.)

6 clear sheet protectors to go into the binder

Please also purchase the following items to go into the pencil box:

2 boxes of pencils and a few erasers

1 pack of dry erase markers, with an expo eraser

5 large glue sticks (these will be used as refills throughout the year)

Invisible Scotch tape (3-bring one to school and keep one at home to refill later as needed)

1 pack of 3" post it notes

1 red pen

Optional: markers, crayons, mini-stapler, a sharpener that catches shavings, and scissors labeled with your name. (I have all of these items available in the classroom)

Note:  Whatever supplies don't fit into your pencil box, leave them at home so that you can refill your pencil box during the year when you run out of certain supplies. If at any time you run out of supplies, it is YOUR responsibility to replace them. Please do not come to school unprepared!
