3rd Grade Thoughts:
What do you think life will be like 100
years from now?
Mirah
I think that life would be different in many
ways, like there would be new games and
people would invent lots of new things. The
schools might be bigger and there might be
different specials. The pollution might be
higher.
Michelle
In 100 years people might be able to fly.
Or dinosaurs may be back because an elephant
might accidentally mate with a bird.
Instead of cars, we could be riding bubbles.
Marisa
I think that in 100 years people will have
created lots more things. Like maybe we
will discover Atlantis with new technology
like taking a stick, putting particles on
it, and saying," Atlantis”, and the stick
points to Atlantis. Maybe we will make a
Floo Network and be able to go places
quickly. That would be awesome!

I think that life will have more electric
stuff in the world. And I think that there
will be flying cars and busses.

I think in 100 years from now it will be
very different because there can be flying
pigs.

In 100 hundred years we will be very
different because a lot of dreams will be
accomplished and there will be more
inventions like more ways to travel and more
famous people.

What I think life will be like in 100 years
is that our life will be very clean and the
world will have battery powered cars. The
world will be much more different if we had
high-tech computers and also in 100 years
later, they (Nintendo Co.) could afford to
make a Wii2! It will be lots of fun.

I think in 100 years the world would be very
different like maybe flying cars and robots
that talk. Also, maybe a park on the moon.
Also, maybe instead of ordering food, you
can just say what you want and you get it.
Maybe I bet they will make flying horses.
It will be so cool!

I think prices for things will be much
higher and maybe more people will have homes
and less people will be poor and a lot more
game systems.

I think that there would be non-gas cars so
there would not be global warming. I also
think that we could travel to another world.

I think a lot of animals right now are going
to be extinct. Maybe new ones are going to
get discovered. A lot of inventors are
going to be inventing new things like a
robot or maybe a hover car. Maybe new
humanoids are going to be made like Homo
Habolis, but they were from a long time
ago. Life would be easier with all the
inventions that are going to be invented.
Will
In 100 years I think the world and life will
be different with people wearing new clothes
and cars flying. Also, buildings will be
taller and any injury could be cured. In
the future I think there will be robots to
help with everything and war will be fought
by robots. Lastly, I think technology will
be the key to the future.

I think life will be very different because
a long time ago they didn’t have any Ipods,
computers, radios, and all kinds of
electronics. Something else is that I think
maybe when I’m older, they will have all
kinds of different new stuff because a long
time ago they didn’t have a lot of stuff we
have right now so I think everything will
change when I’m a lot older.

I think what will happen in 100 years is …
They will have holographs that show things
of the past like dinosaurs, people, cavemen
and many others to learn how they lived and
died. Another thing I think will happen in
100 years is that people will be more
careful about global warming and buy solar
panels. What I definitely think will happen
is that most people will drive hybrid cars
so they don’t’ pollute!

This may sound funny, but I think I might be
dead. I would be 108 years old!! That’s
more than a century and it is close to 11
decades!

What I think the world would be like is that
a lot of animal species would have been
discovered or formed, like small falcons
with speckled heads. I also think our
technology would be very advanced and could
see all the galaxies. I also think that
New York City
would have houses instead of apartments and
would be much more grassy.

100 years from now I think that there will
be flying cars and hover boards that you
will move by looking in that direction. For
the cars there would have to be flying stop
lights. People would have to be a lot more
careful because everybody would be bumping
into each other.
As for the animals, they will probably be
different, too; they will be going on land
from the water and the other way around.
Some animals will be extinct and some brand
new.

I think there will be hover cars and robots
that do anything you say. I also think
there will be lots of high tech stuff. Like
Ipods you don’t need ear phones for. And TV
that when you say a channel, it will go to
that channel. Also, there might be some new
species of animals discovered.
Negative
I think that a lot more animals will be
extinct because so many animals’ homes are
being cut down so the only way they could
survive is if they adapted to a new
environment. And also global warming could
kill us.

In 100 years, cars might fly. And I might
not be alive. I also think the president
will figure out how to stop global warming.

What I think life will be like in 100
hundred years is … we would be having
robots in our houses doing our chores and
pouring our tea. Cars might be able to
fly. Cottages could have been made into
secret hiding places or a dog house. Dogs
could have high tech collars on them so they
could run around but their owner would have
a device to see where they went. Cats would
have the same thing.

I think life would be tremendously different
because there would probably be a lot of new
discovered inventions like cars that fly but
I think a lot of things would be the same
like kids would probably still go to school
and probably kids would still not be allowed
to drive. I think there would be more
pollution and gas would be at a higher
price.

I think there would be lots of new
inventions like new video games, new taxis,
maybe flying monkeys, new TV shows, new
sports. We could even have jetpacks or
skateboards with motors.
